Regional/OTR Class A Owner Operator
About The Position
Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in El Dorado, AR. This will be a "Flex" position to the east coast. The position is open to candidates from East TX, LA, AR, MS, East TN, and NC. The role offers 2500-3000 miles with a compensation of $0.55-0.57 cpm and $27-29 per hour. Drivers do not have to stay out for two weeks and can work out a schedule that best suits them. The average annual earning potential is $200-250K. The compensation package includes payment for on-duty time via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
Responsibilities
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Operates tractor trailer units
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
- Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
