Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Class A CDL with tanker, hazmat, and airbrakes required.
  • Follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
  • Safe operation of forklifts.
  • Lift and carry up to 100 pounds, tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment.
  • Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands.
  • Will require daily climbing, standing, twisting, throwing overhead, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles.
  • Must be able to talk, hear, and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin.
  • Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
  • Must possess and maintain a smartphone and data service sufficient to access required business applications, communications, and work-related systems.
  • English language fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending.
  • Be trustworthy, dependable, respectful, and truthful with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service.
  • Follow policies and procedures and take responsibility for your own actions.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and education verification.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years in oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Bilingual beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Hauling oil field chemicals between company locations.
  • Will cross state lines and require overnight stays during the workweek.
  • Follow all DOT/FMCSA regulations.
  • Expected to follow established procedures and comply with safety regulations.
  • Work under general supervision.
  • FMCSA regulations and safety are top priority.
  • Proper use of company-issued safety equipment and PPE.
  • Maintain driver logs, according to DOT regulations
  • Follow all SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Follow all FMCSA regulations
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment
  • Properly load, secure, and unload trucks (tanker and flatbed)
  • Accurately complete bills of lading (BOLs) and other reports according to company policy
  • Maintain accurate inventory reports according to company policy
  • Timely completion of reports and documentation
  • Work well independently and as a team
  • Provide excellent customer service
