Shared Imaging is looking for a Regional Operations Supervisor to cover our California, Washington and Oregon sites. Preference of residency is the Northern California (San Francisco / Sacramento) area. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Regional Operations Supervisor (ROS) will perform and meet clinical and supervisory responsibilities required in the tactical and strategic operations in fulfillment of Shared Imaging's obligations related to mobile and full-time customers focusing on employee and customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Knowledge of the US healthcare industry, diagnostic imaging trends and technology.
  • Business development, strategy and forecasting exposure
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Work from home, with daily or overnight travel (5-7 times/month).
  • Completed background check and drug screen on file.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference of residency is the Northern California (San Francisco / Sacramento) area.
  • Formal process and quality management training such as lean six sigma.
  • A solid understanding of P&L reports and the drivers behind profitability.
  • A positive track record of B2B customer engagement and management preferably with healthcare providers.
  • Experience creating and cultivating engaged, self-directed teams.
  • Above average skill-level with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience as an X-Ray, CT, Nuclear Med or MRI Technologist, preferred.
  • Radiology Department Supervisor/Manager, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise operational activities associated with Mobile and Full-Time contracts within the assigned region.
  • Directly supervise Technologists and Technologist Aides supporting Shared Imaging's customers.
  • Assist the Regional Manager in supplying customers with complete and accurate performance and regulatory documentation for all information contractually required.
  • Ensure Shared Imaging meets the standards set forth by our customers and follows all policies and procedures established by customers and agreed to by Shared Imaging.
  • Build collaborative working relationships with direct reports, peers, co-workers, Shared Imaging Executive Team members, and customer staff to enhance customer service and engagement.
  • Assist with maintaining employee licensure, certifications, competency assessments, safety requirements, and standards required by customers and Shared Imaging.
  • Assist in leading the onboarding of new contract services to ensure contractual commitments and customer expectations are met.
  • Assist with maintaining radiation exposure documentation and serve as a leader in magnet and radiation safety.
  • Act as a Regional Safety Officer in designated regions, providing a safe environment for all Shared Imaging personnel, customer personnel, patients, and vendors in relation to Shared Imaging's diagnostic imaging assets, radiation safety, and magnet safety.
  • Share accountability with the Regional Manager for the P&L performance associated with Shared Imaging's contracts within the designated region.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales, Transportation, Asset Management, and Finance teams to ensure quarterly margin objectives are met.
  • Actively serve as a preceptor, instructor, and tutor for all employees, regardless of job duties.
  • Perform direct-report employee performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, reprimands, and follow-up activities regarding progress or prescribed action plans as instructed by the Regional Manager.
  • Document employee training and new employee orientation.
  • Play an active role in employee recruitment and retention.
