About The Position

The Regional Operations Manager is the Business Leader for all operations within an assigned geographic region of the business, overseeing all functions and general operations of FHI’s business operations for that region. The role focuses on driving profit and loss, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with the company's Purpose, Vision, and Values.

Requirements

Management experience in warehouse/shipping/receiving preferably in grocery supply chain.
3+ years management experience in warehouse environment with responsibility for HR related activities, safety, competency in production and financial analysis, customer relations, leading and coaching operational teams to success.
Well-developed written and oral communication skills with ability to use influence to build positive effective relationships.
Computer/Microsoft Office proficiency.
Valid driver’s license.
Pass background check.

Responsibilities

Implement and execute business processes that lead to profit and loss in FHI’s unloading business for that region.
Advise the Director of Operations with decision making that will best serve the business outcomes.
Work closely with various support department Leaders (Executive team, HR, Finance, Accounting, IT) and others to develop and recommend appropriate operational decisions and adjustments.
Provide coaching to direct reports and operational leaders to ensure clear expectations regarding objectives that lead to their success.
Conduct regular, monthly one-on-one coaching (AP) sessions with each direct report.
Provide clear expectations to teams in the areas of customer service, safety, development, and training.
Review direct reports’ performances compared to expectations for that position, including KPI goals.
Ensure audit procedures are in place that inspects all aspects of operations for compliance to company policies, procedures, and FHI’s company values.
Comply with established policies, procedures, federal, state, and local laws and ensures consistent application throughout assigned region.
Participate in the Customer Top-To-Top and operational Continuous Improvement Meetings as directed by the (Sr.) Director of Operations for the assigned region.
