About The Position

TORQ Coatings is seeking an Operations Manager to become the Founder’s right-hand operational leader as we continue scaling across multiple markets. This is not a corporate management position. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thinks like an owner, thrives in fast-growing environments, and knows how to build teams, systems, and accountability from the ground up. The right person will help lead operations across multiple markets, recruit and develop leaders, improve field performance, drive profitability, and help create the foundation for a company that intends to become a dominant force in the home services industry. The Opportunity You will work directly with the Founder to help build and scale field operations across current and future markets. Your mission is simple: Build great teams. Create scalable systems. Drive operational excellence. Develop future leaders. As the company grows, this role will continue to evolve into a senior executive leadership position with substantial compensation and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in home services, construction, coatings, concrete, roofing, restoration, remodeling, landscaping, or similar industries
  • Experience managing multiple crews, departments, or markets

Responsibilities

  • Oversee field operations across multiple markets
  • Drive production performance, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor KPIs and operational scorecards
  • Improve systems, processes, and accountability across all locations
  • Partner with leadership to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Recruit, interview, and hire top talent
  • Build and develop production leadership teams
  • Coach Production Managers, Field Supervisors, and Crew Leaders
  • Create accountability and performance standards
  • Build succession plans for future growth
  • Develop training systems for installers and production leaders
  • Conduct field visits and jobsite audits
  • Ensure installation quality and customer experience standards are maintained
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions
  • Assist with launching new markets
  • Travel to support startup operations
  • Recruit and develop local leadership teams
  • Help create repeatable systems that can scale across multiple locations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Founder
  • Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives
  • Help implement company-wide operational priorities
  • Lead by example through ownership, accountability, and execution

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
  • Performance Bonus Opportunity
  • On-Target Earnings: $120,000 - $150,000+
