About The Position

The Regional Operations Manager will oversee all regional operations, including truckload, drayage, and local pickup & delivery (P&D). This role owns the full regional P&L, including revenue, cost control, and margin performance. The manager will drive operational execution to meet or exceed service KPIs such as on-time performance, utilization, and safety. They will partner with Sales to support growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and customer onboarding, and develop/execute regional capacity plans involving company drivers, owner-operators, and vendor partners. Responsibilities also include ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance management across all stations within the region, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting issue resolution and escalations. The role involves implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures, compliance, and safety standards, as well as identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and network optimization. Regular performance reporting and monthly reviews of financial and operational results are also key functions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of transportation/logistics operations experience, with multi-site leadership preferred.
  • Strong understanding of truckload, drayage, and local P&D operations.
  • Proven experience managing P&L and driving margin improvement.
  • Ability to lead teams across multiple locations and develop operational leaders.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Customer Operations.
  • Proficiency in TMS systems and operational reporting tools.
  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • Minimum four years related experience required
  • Minimum three years industry experience required
