About The Position

Quadra is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Operations Manager to lead and shape the future of our Florida operations based in Longwood. Reporting to the U.S. Director of Operations & Logistics, you will provide leadership and direction to the Longwood Plant Manager, Logistics Manager, and Quality Manager, while ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the site. You will play a key role in advancing environmental, health, and safety performance, enhancing quality and chemical storage compliance, and implementing best-in-class operational practices that support long-term growth. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives, including evaluating opportunities for a future co-located Florida facility. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business administration, supply chain, environmental management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • At least 8 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, including responsibility for managers or multi-functional teams.
  • Significant experience in chemical distribution, manufacturing, warehousing, bulk chemical handling, terminal operations, or a comparable regulated industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EHS management systems, chemical storage controls, quality systems, environmental compliance, emergency response, incident investigation, and corrective action management.
  • Experience working with regulatory inspections, internal and external audits, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Proven ability to manage logistics, inventory, operating budgets, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to set standards, coach managers, influence cross-functional partners, and communicate clearly at all levels.
  • Comfort using ERP, Microsoft Office, reporting tools, transportation or warehouse systems, and other operational technology.
  • Professional certification or formal training in EHS, quality, project management, emergency response, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a safety-first culture that promotes environmental stewardship, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, Florida DEP, fire code, and other applicable regulations.
  • Lead emergency preparedness programs, incident investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with EHS, Quality, Risk, and Regulatory Affairs teams to maintain a safe and compliant operation.
  • Ensure the safe handling, storage, and distribution of chemical products in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive accountability through inspections, compliance reviews, and proactive risk management practices.
  • Lead the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Longwood facility and Florida logistics activities.
  • Drive operational performance across safety, quality, service, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost management.
  • Oversee facility maintenance, contractor management, capital projects, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and business cases to support operational and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure operational capabilities support customer requirements for safety, quality, reliability, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Ensure best practices for chemical handling, storage, inventory management, and environmental controls.
  • Partner with the Quality Manager to maintain robust quality systems, audits, training programs, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Monitor operational and quality performance trends and implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Strengthen inventory accuracy, product traceability, and operating discipline across warehousing and distribution activities.
  • Drive environmental improvement initiatives related to spill prevention, waste management, and site stewardship.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Plant Manager, Logistics Manager, and Quality Manager.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen organizational capability through succession planning, talent development, and effective performance management.
  • Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and operational reviews to drive results and accountability.
  • Ensure employees and contractors are appropriately trained and qualified to perform their work safely and effectively.
  • Partner with the U.S. Director of Operations & Logistics to evaluate opportunities for a future co-located Florida facility.
  • Provide operational expertise for site selection, capacity planning, facility design, and implementation planning.
  • Support business case development, risk assessments, and operational readiness planning for future growth initiatives.
