Support daily OnSite operations, within an assigned area, with a focus on providing uninterrupted account coverage, on the job training, and education to OnSite specialists. This field-based position requires providing clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment as it pertains to various account specific contracted scopes of work and functions. You will lead timely and effective on-the-job training and onboarding activities for OnSite Specialists, providing education on multiple products, processes, and complex situations. The role involves coordinating daily operations with OnSite leaders to ensure effective execution and assessments of staffing and training, and remaining available to fill anticipated or unplanned staffing gaps. You will anticipate related device needs of the OR staff and surgeon during surgical procedures, and coach OnSite specialists on the importance of anticipating customer needs. This role provides physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current minimally invasive surgical products, and ensures effective surgical care to patients as related to third party and Stryker Endoscopy equipment. You will demonstrate and maintain knowledge of a broad variety of minimally invasive Stryker and third-party surgical equipment and instruments, and be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining Stryker Endoscopy equipment. Accurate daily recording and reporting of data metrics related to all specific job functions is required, along with communicating updates on account information to ensure continuous high levels of service. You will drive adherence with team members to ensure compliance of appropriate regulations, policies, and industry standards. Building and maintaining strong relationships with surgeons, patients, OR personnel, Central Processing, Biomed, Sales Representatives, OR Management, Hospital Administration, and other Stryker employees and partners is crucial. You must be able to analyze and resolve both routine and non-routine product issues expediently using independent judgment and adhere to all Stryker and medical facility policies, standards, and procedures. Communication of OnSite escalations in partnership with appropriate stakeholders and communicating customer needs and complaints to OnSite Leadership and appropriate Endo/cross-divisional representatives are key responsibilities. Identifying continuing education opportunities, scheduling/hosting in-services, and attending customer huddles & meetings as invited are also part of the role. You will coordinate or delegate equipment management, repairs tracking, and loaner coordination, and support projects and continuous improvement initiatives within OnSite. Adherence to HIPAA and other related patient confidentiality policies and procedures, as well as all policies and procedures put forth in the Stryker code of conduct and Stryker Employee Handbook, is mandatory. You will embody Stryker’s core values and leadership expectations. Obtaining and maintaining a HSPA Certification is required. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by your direct manager. Demonstrating a professional work ethic and attitude at all times, maintaining a professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude required by Stryker and the medical facility, and adhering to HIPAA and other related patient confidentiality policies and procedures are essential.
