About The Position

Soleo Health is seeking a Full time Regional Nurse Supervisor to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy patients and employees in the Houston, TX and surrounding areas. Join us in simplifying complex care!

Requirements

  • Current RN Licensure by the applicable state’s Board of Nursing, in good standing, Texas RN License
  • Minimum 2 years Nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy or critical care
  • Minimum 2 years Pediatric Nursing experience ideal
  • Clinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring, skill and knowledge of all types of IV lines
  • Minimum 1 year management experience, proven ability to manage, train and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projects
  • Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Must have a drivers license and properly registered vehicle to see patients as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g. CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
  • Nurse Supervisory/Nurse Management position working in an Infusion Nursing role - preferred
  • Specialty Infusion Pharmacy experience

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients
  • Implementation and management of physician orders related to nursing
  • Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a highly skilled professional and allied staff
  • Assures that departmental staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, performs supervisory visits, participate in continuing education, received counseling and are evaluated in a timely manner
  • Assure that patient verification, assessment, teaching and the ongoing scheduling of nursing services occurs in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Assures that all patient related documentation is accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process
  • Participates in planning, decision-making and implementation of all service center activities that affect clinical nursing services and the performance of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Secures and maintains all applicable professional certifications, accreditations and employment requirements as required of the nursing staff and department
  • Coordination of patient care in conjunction with nurse scheduler and or clinical coordinator
  • Assures all nursing documentation is accounted for and billed in a timely manner
  • Promotes efficiency and productivity of nursing dept in conjunction with nurse manager
  • Works closely with the Nurse Manager and Operations Manager to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs and systems
  • Assures own professional growth and clinical competence
  • Adheres to all policies, procedures and standards of conduct
  • Reports to the appropriate management any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations or standards of conduct
