About The Position

Soleo Health is seeking a Full-time Regional Nurse Supervisor to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy patients in the Columbus, OH and surrounding areas. Join us in simplifying complex care! The Regional Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for the administration of Nursing services as assigned under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing, for the region. Directs, plans, and coordinates the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and agency nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care. Provides, coordinates, and directs patient care.

Requirements

  • Current RN Licensure by the applicable state’s Board of Nursing- Multistate RN License to include the states of OH, KY, MI, WV, PA in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years Nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy or critical care
  • Minimum 2 years Pediatric Nursing experience ideal
  • Clinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring, skill and knowledge of all types of IV lines
  • Minimum 1 year management experience, proven ability to manage, train and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projects
  • Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Must be knowledgeable of IV access devices to include: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medications
  • Must be able to drive your own vehicle up to 2 hours one direction to see patients as needed
  • Must be comfortable providing infusions to patients in their homes working around animals/cigarette smoke
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year prior experience working as a Nurse Supervisor in the home health or specialty infusion pharmacy setting specializing in infusion therapy
  • Must hold a multistate RN license to include: OH, KY, MI, PA, WV in good standing
  • Must be comfortable traveling to locations as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g. CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients
  • Implementation and management of physician orders related to nursing
  • Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a highly skilled professional and allied staff.
  • Assures that departmental staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, performs supervisory visits, participate in continuing education, received counseling and are evaluated in a timely manner.
  • Assure that patient verification, assessment, teaching and the ongoing scheduling of nursing services occurs in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Assures that all patient related documentation is accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process.
  • Participates in planning, decision-making and implementation of all service center activities that affect clinical nursing services and the performance of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Secures and maintains all applicable professional certifications, accreditations and employment requirements as required of the nursing staff and department.
  • Coordination of patient care in conjunction with nurse scheduler and or clinical coordinator
  • Assures all nursing documentation is accounted for and billed in a timely manner
  • Promotes efficiency and productivity of nursing dept in conjunction with nurse manager
  • Works closely with the Nurse Manager and Operations Manager to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs and systems.
  • Assures own professional growth and clinical competence.
  • Adheres to all policies, procedures and standards of conduct.
  • Reports to the appropriate management any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations or standards of conduct.
