Regional Marketing Manager - ACX Corp Sup Remote

AutoCanada Inc.Edmonton, AB
CA$75,000 - CA$95,000Remote

About The Position

ACX is redefining collision repair, hail repair, and auto services across Canada. Formerly AutoCanada Collision Centres, ACX is backed by AutoCanada and operates more than 30 locations nationwide, with continued growth through acquisitions and expansion into new markets. We’re building a modern marketing organization to support that growth – combining strong national strategy and brand consistency with marketing that reflects the needs and opportunities of our local markets. ACX is looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy, planning, and execution across an assigned group of markets and locations. This role acts as the primary marketing partner for regional Operations leaders, working closely with them to understand business priorities, identify opportunities, and develop marketing plans that build awareness and preference, drive customer acquisition, and support regional business growth. The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for connecting regional business needs with ACX’s broader national marketing strategy. You’ll turn insights and opportunities into clear plans and briefs, coordinate execution across our internal Creative and Performance teams and external partners, and measure results to continually improve our approach. This is a highly collaborative role for someone who can think strategically, build strong relationships, manage multiple markets and priorities, and turn ideas into action.

Requirements

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to connect marketing activity to business objectives rather than simply executing individual requests.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with senior regional and operational leaders.
  • The ability to understand stakeholder needs, ask the right questions, and turn sometimes loosely defined challenges into clear marketing opportunities and plans.
  • A strong understanding of integrated marketing across digital, traditional, local, and brand channels.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple markets, initiatives, stakeholders, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A collaborative approach and experience working with creative, media, performance marketing, communications, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly explain marketing strategy, recommendations, priorities, and results.
  • A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • A results-oriented mindset focused on learning what works and continually improving.
  • Comfort working in a growing organization where priorities can evolve and new opportunities emerge quickly.
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in a regional, multi-location, integrated marketing, or similar role.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing plans across multiple channels.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and prioritizing investments.
  • Experience partnering directly with business or operational stakeholders.
  • Experience using performance data and reporting to evaluate results and guide recommendations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working across multiple locations, geographic markets, or business units is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, new-location openings, rebrands, or market launches is an asset.
  • Experience in automotive, collision repair, retail, franchise, multi-location services, or another locally driven business is an asset.
  • French-language skills and/or experience marketing within Quebec is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage regional marketing plans aligned with ACX’s national marketing strategy, brand priorities, and regional business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to Directors of Operations and other regional stakeholders, building a strong understanding of their markets, locations, customers, competitive environment, and business priorities.
  • Maintain awareness of local market dynamics, competitors, referral sources, customer behaviour, and other factors that may influence business performance.
  • Balance regional needs with national brand standards, helping create consistency and scalability while recognizing legitimate differences between markets.
  • Collaborate with other Regional Marketing Managers to share insights, successful initiatives, learnings, and opportunities that can be scaled across ACX.
  • Manage relationships with media partners, agencies, vendors, community organizations, and other external partners as required.
  • Translate business needs and marketing opportunities into clear strategies, campaign plans, project briefs, timelines, and measurable objectives.
  • Partner closely with ACX’s Creative team to develop campaigns, advertising, collateral, content, signage, digital assets, and other marketing materials.
  • Work with the Performance Marketing team to plan regional paid media across channels such as paid search, paid social, display, OOH/DOOH, radio, and streaming audio.
  • Plan and execute email and SMS campaigns, including audience segmentation, testing, and optimization.
  • Coordinate regional campaigns, partnerships, sponsorships, events, local initiatives, and other market-specific programs where appropriate.
  • Manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring investments are prioritized against the strongest opportunities and aligned with business objectives.
  • Support annual and quarterly marketing planning, forecasting, reporting, and prioritization.
  • Proactively identify marketing opportunities based on business needs, market conditions, performance data, customer insights, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support newly acquired locations by developing and coordinating acquisition marketing plans that introduce ACX to the market, support brand transitions, and maintain customer and referral-source confidence.
  • Track campaign and initiative performance, share results with stakeholders, and use learnings to recommend improvements and future investments.
  • Establish feedback loops with Operations to understand what is happening at the location level and identify opportunities to adjust marketing activity when needed.
