Regional Marketing Manager-Northeast Region
About The Position
The Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin is looking for a Regional Marketing Manager for our Northeast Region. At Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, cheese runs through our veins. As a non-profit organization that is fully funded by dairy farmers, our mission is to help Wisconsin’s dairy farm families succeed by building demand for products made in Wisconsin with Wisconsin milk…like cheese. We are seeking someone who is passionate about what they do, who is excited about new challenges and who does not settle for the status quo. Collaborative and open-minded, we put farmers and our team members first. New ideas and opinions are encouraged and valued.
Requirements
- At least five years of proven retail supermarket sales/marketing success working with key retail decision makers and retail marketing teams developing multi-faceted consumer programs.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement program strategies at a regional level.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships built on integrity and follow through.
- Professional, well-developed communication skills to effectively communicate with retailers and manufacturers/marketers.
- Ability to speak confidently in front of groups.
- Analytical, organizational and computer skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or a related field.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of and experience in retail deli/perishable section sales, logistics and operations.
Responsibilities
- Represent the Wisconsin dairy industry and Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin in the retail marketplace.
- Plan, develop and implement retail promotional programs.
- Conduct on-site training.
- Manage market promotions.
- Manage market-level Wisconsin Cheese events.
