About The Position

The Regional Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the residential services that are offered within an established geographical region. Responsibilities include working as a team with the Executive Team, the director, and other regional managers to ensure the overall success of the division. The Regional Manager will be responsible for screening, selecting, and licensing sponsored providers, screening potential individuals for services, and directly supervising program managers. The Regional Manager ensures that services and locations are in compliance with all required regulations and policies, managing human rights and licensing issues in their assigned regions. The Regional Manager also facilitate the growth of their region and develop relationships with outside supports and the community.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field and one year experience working directly with individuals who have intellectual disabilities.
  • One year experience conducting, writing and approving assessments.
  • One year supervisory experience required (experience can be concurrent).
  • Experience conducting and writing assessments and ISPs.
  • Demonstrated skill in administrative program management and supervision.
  • Good oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply with state licensing, human rights, Medicaid and other agency standards.
  • Ability to maintain records, prepare reports and complete required paperwork per licensing and agency requirements in a timely manner.
  • Ability to observe health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work at sites other than usual work location when circumstances warrant.
  • Basic computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office preferred.
  • DSP Supervisor Orientation Certification or ability to acquire certification prior to serving individuals.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Certification in enCircle’s Crisis De-escalation/Behavior management or ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Valid Virginia Drivers’ license and proof of insurance in compliance with driver requirement policy.
  • Satisfactory Driving Record in compliance with Driver Requirement Policy.
  • Medication Administration certification or ability to acquire Medication Administration certification.
  • Access to a personal vehicle.
