About The Position

The Regional Manager is directly responsible for management and supervision of an assigned portfolio of properties, including but not limited to, supervision of the general administration and maintenance aspects of property operations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Property Management software (e.g. Yardi).
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and meet various deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional scheduling and organizational skills
• Team player with a strong work ethic and ability to interact with a wide variety of people
• Ability to solve problems involving tenants, personnel, emergency situations while remaining calm, rational and professional.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience (2+ years preferred) in LIHTC property management

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of a portfolio of properties
• Supervise on site staff including hiring, disciplinary and termination decisions
• Coordinate with Site Managers to develop marketing and leasing strategies
• Train and motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures
• Communicate with Site Managers daily
• File insurance, Workman’s Comp claims for properties (if needed)
• Rent journals keyed daily
• Consult with regulatory agencies on site reviews/inspections
• Handle tenant complaints
• Complete delinquency and vacancy reports
• Approve and sign vendor bills
• Complete reserve requests and send to RD
• Update management plans
• Update AFHMP as needed
• Maintain property management folders
• Fulfill reporting requirements for regulatory agencies, owners, and/or syndicators
• Send copies of bank statements to RD, LIHTC, and others as needed
• Prepare budgets, transmit, and mail to RD
• Communicate changes to properties (e.g. budget, rent changes, tenant income) and ensure tenants are made aware
• Send approved budgets to Certifications Dept.
• Attend inspections and reviews when possible
