Our Regional Managers are responsible for overseeing the operations, management, and growth of a specific region, ensuring the smooth functioning of business activities, and achieving company goals within that region.

Requirements

  • Construction and leadership experience required
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar industry-specific software

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related business field preferred but not required - or a combination of a related education (associate degree in skilled trade) and in-depth experience in electrical construction, automation, or industrial engineering)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects within key industries such as food processing, energy facilities, water/wastewater plants or similar industrial environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day regional office activities within a specific region
  • Foster and maintain a strong safety-first culture in both office and site environments
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures across office and field operations within the region
  • Drive operational excellence ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures in each office
  • Develop and mentor regional staff
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and guide development
  • Collaborate for Business Development to execute sales strategies for the region
  • Monitor market trends and competitors, adjusting strategies, as necessary
  • Manage and track regional budgets and expenditures
  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures
  • Oversee project delivery in the region to deliver high quality work within scope and budget
  • Coordinate with cross function teams to define project scopes, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring efficient project execution
  • Build client relations within a region to support regional growth and enhance the Interstates portfolio for future opportunities
  • Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement or growth
  • Oversee recruitment needs and staffing levels to meet operational needs in the region
