The Regional Manager position is a vital one at our company because its working directly with our site leadership, including staff, school administration, and students. A typical day involves visiting assigned sites, conferring with Site Coordinators on lesson planning, training needs, and programming ideas. It also includes meeting with school principals to plan student engagement events, reviewing budgets to ensure financial goals are met, monitoring attendance rates and compliance with daily attendance targets, discussing student needs with parents, and leading staff training sessions. The role ensures the overall success of after school and enrichment programs at partner sites by managing day-to-day operations, visiting sites monthly, attending district-wide meetings, and ensuring all district deadlines are met. The Regional Manager is responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment, fostering individual growth through hands-on activities, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. They ensure sites meet attendance goals, follow reporting procedures, and comply with sign-in/sign-out procedures. Budget monitoring, assisting with community partnerships, and maintaining compliant Federal Program Monitoring (FPM) records are also key functions. The role upholds guidelines, policies, and procedures, manages schedules and deadlines efficiently, and collaborates with parents, school staff, students, and community members. The Regional Manager assures all functions align with state and federal regulations and the district's educational goals. They assist in coordinating events and meetings to increase program support and lead full-time and part-time site staff, students, instructors, and volunteers, providing coaching, training, and performance assessments. Staff schedules are monitored, and timecards and time-off requests are approved. On rare occasions, the Regional Manager may fill in for absent staff to ensure student safety and ensure staff understand California wage and hour laws.
