About The Position

Milacron is looking for a Regional Manager, EHS & Security to join our team in Batavia, Ohio. In this position, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for environmental, health, safety, and security programs across Milacron’s North American manufacturing network, while ensuring alignment with global EHS standards and driving a proactive culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading remote or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Experience overseeing or partnering with physical security functions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly, including international travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar credential preferred.
  • Experience working with or managing global/international EHS teams preferred.
  • Experience in heavy manufacturing, industrial equipment, or plastics processing industries preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop plant-level EHS Managers and Coordinators across facilities in Batavia, OH; Mt. Orab, OH; McPherson, KS; and Atlanta, GA.
  • Partner with the India EHS lead to align global EHS programs, share best practices, and support corrective actions.
  • Oversee onsite security operations and contracted security services at the Batavia and Mt. Orab facilities.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for EHS and security incidents across supported locations.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS management systems, policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Monitor and drive performance against key safety metrics, including TRIR, DART, and near-miss reporting.
  • Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis activities, and corrective and preventive action programs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
  • Manage regulatory audits, inspections, permitting activities, and relationships with government agencies.
  • Standardize EHS and security processes, reporting, documentation, and training across all sites while managing related budgets and reporting performance to senior leadership.
