About The Position

Brookside is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to support its small apartment communities in Middle Tennessee. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing various building systems, completing unit turns and exterior maintenance, and traveling to properties to provide hands-on support. The manager will also guide and support on-site teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience
  • Strong HVAC skills with EPA Type II or Universal certification required
  • Well-rounded knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pools a plus)
  • Availability for after-hours calls
  • Reliable transportation and basic tools
  • Strong communication skills with residents, staff, and vendors

Nice To Haves

  • USDA housing experience preferred
  • Pool maintenance knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall/painting, and more
  • Complete unit turns, exterior, and grounds maintenance
  • Travel to properties to provide hands-on support and resolve complex maintenance issues
  • Guide and support on-site teams while ensuring safety and quality standards
