Brookside is seeking an experienced Regional Maintenance Manager to support apartment communities throughout the Nashville and Columbia region. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a skilled multifamily maintenance professional with strong HVAC experience who enjoys troubleshooting, mentoring teams, and traveling between communities. Requirements

  • 3+ years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience required
  • EPA Type II or Universal certification required
  • Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general building maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and support multiple communities and teams
  • Reliable transportation and basic maintenance tools required
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior regional, lead, or maintenance supervisor experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on maintenance support across multiple apartment communities
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building systems
  • Assist with unit turns, preventative maintenance, curb appeal, and grounds maintenance
  • Troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and support on-site teams with training and guidance
  • Ensure work orders, turns, and projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
  • Travel regularly between communities throughout the region
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance needs
