About The Position

The Regional Leave and Disability Management Administrator serves as the regionally assigned subject matter expert and primary escalation point of contact for leave and disability accommodation matters. This role provides advanced case oversight, ensures consistent application of federal, state, and local regulations, and serves as the primary facilitator of the interactive accommodation process.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related business field and five (5) years’ experience as an HR Generalist with emphasis in leave of absence, disability management, accommodations, or HR compliance; or seven (7) years’ or more experience as an HR Generalist with emphasis in leave of absence, disability management, accommodations and or related HR functions.
  • Current HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP
  • Extensive knowledge of the leave and disability requirements and other legal protections afforded by the FMLA, ADA, and other applicable laws (primarily in the States we operate – CA, OR, WA, AZ, NE).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pay integration, accrual coordination, and benefit premium continuation during leaves
  • Applicant must be fingerprinted and receive clearance from the Department of Justice
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
  • If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.
