This role is primarily responsible for regional oversight of clinical care and facility relationships. The Regional Lead NP/PA will also round 2-3 days a week at their own designated facility to care for patients who are experiencing difficulty participating in therapy due to pain or functional limitations. Key responsibilities include serving as the clinical point of contact for all Providers in the region, providing clinical training to ensure excellent clinical decision making and bedside manner, shadowing each Provider in the region, and conducting regular clinical and facility meetings with facility staff. The role involves performing focused assessments, developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with facility primary care teams to optimize therapy participation and functional recovery, and providing targeted interventions such as joint injections, Botox treatments, dry needling, and medication management. The Regional Lead NP/PA will support physiatrists on-site, operate with a high level of autonomy, and coordinate care by referring to other specialties or services when necessary.
