About The Position
Family Dollar is seeking drivers for a regional lane. This position requires drivers to be out for 5 days, with home time on Fridays and Saturdays. Drivers must be able to take the truck home. This is a touch freight account that involves hand unloading with approximately 3 stops per week and 1 trailer per week. The average mileage is 1800-2200 miles per week. Drop & Hook and Live Unload are part of the job. Paid orientation is provided close to the driver's residence.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A.
- Must be able to take the truck home.
- Must be able to perform hand unloading.
Responsibilities
- Drive a regional lane for Family Dollar.
- Be out for 5 days per week.
- Handle approximately 3 stops per week.
- Manage 1 trailer per week.
- Perform hand unloading of freight.
- Complete drop & hook and live unload operations.
- Maintain an average of 1800-2200 miles per week.
Benefits
- Home Friday and Saturdays.
- Pay range of $1380 to $1600 per week.
