About The Position

The Regional IT Support Technician provides hands-on technical support across multiple hotel and resort properties within the Central Coast Collection. This role focuses on end-user support, endpoint and hardware troubleshooting, basic network connectivity issues, and coordination of regional IT operations. The technician works closely with the Regional Director of IT, property leadership, and third-party vendors to ensure technology systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with operational needs. This position requires regular onsite visits, strong customer service skills, and the ability to support multiple locations efficiently.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in an IT support, desktop support, or field technician role.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Entra ID user and group management.
  • Experience supporting MFA solutions such as Microsoft Authenticator or Duo.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for interacting with staff and leadership.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests across different locations.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining a collaborative team member.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to endpoint management, ticketing systems, and basic cybersecurity practices is preferred.
  • Hospitality or resort technology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to hotel staff with a strong focus on customer service and timely issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, and peripheral hardware and software issues.
  • Support Microsoft-based environments including Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID user administration.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity issues including Wi-Fi access, LAN connectivity, VPN access, and network printers.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, repair, and replacement of IT hardware and endpoint devices.
  • Support audiovisual and teleconferencing systems in meeting rooms, offices, and shared spaces.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage service providers for escalated technical issues and on-site service calls.
  • Assist with procurement, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management of IT equipment.
  • Participate in regional IT projects such as system upgrades, new deployments, and property renovations or openings.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and common troubleshooting steps to support standardization across properties.
