About The Position

B Lab is seeking a Regional IT Support Administrator to join its network-wide Operational Technology team. This role provides day-to-day end-user support and shares responsibility for network-wide technology platforms. The administrator will manage regional onboarding, offboarding, endpoint device provisioning, and provide hands-on support for physical technology needs like office/meeting equipment. They will also lead the rollout and adoption of standardized systems, tools, and workflows within their region. The Operational Technology Team is expanding to support approximately 500 users globally, moving from a historically uniform tech stack for about 100 users. This expansion includes regional support and dedicated security ownership, while maintaining centralized governance and platform management across the network.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of work experience in a support/IT administrative role
  • Technical knowledge of and comfort with troubleshooting macOS and Windows
  • Familiarity with cloud-based tools such as Google Workspace
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms such as Jamf, Intune, or similar
  • Comfort providing remote technical support
  • Experience with device provisioning and endpoint management
  • Must hold U.S. work authorization without any time limitations or any other restrictions
  • Must be a resident of New York State at the start of employment
  • Must be within commuting distance of our office in NYC

Responsibilities

  • Serve as part of a shared, network-wide team providing day-to-day technical support to staff across the B Lab network.
  • Maintain and contribute to a shared network-wide knowledge base.
  • Provision and de-provision accounts, hardware, and systems access for staff joining or leaving the organization.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain end user devices for staff within the region, following network-wide standards and security practices.
  • Provide hands-on support for physical technology needs within the region, including laptop and hardware troubleshooting (when feasible), device replacement, and servicing of office technology (TVs, printers, conferencing equipment.)
  • Coordinate with vendors or outside repair services for hardware issues within the region when needed.
  • Manage the physical logistics of endpoint provisioning and retrieval for regional staff.
  • Lead the regional rollout of new tools, systems, and workflows defined by central Operational Technology leadership.
  • Provide training and support to regional staff on new systems and security practices.
  • Provide feedback to central leadership on regional adoption challenges, or gaps in standardized tooling.
