About The Position

The University of Nevada, Reno College of Education & Human Development, Excellence in Disabilities team is recruiting for two Regional Implementation Coordinators. These positions focus on delivering high-quality on-site and virtual coaching, technical assistance, and systems-level consultation to district/agency and school/implementation teams across the state. Working in direct alignment with the content and training delivered by the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support) Professional Learning Coordinators, the Regional Implementation Coordinators ensure deep, consistent application of MTSS practices that lead to improved academic, behavioral, and social-emotional outcomes for all youth. The MTSS Regional Implementation Coordinators will supervise the District MTSS Coaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and three years of related experience; OR a master’s degree and two years of related experience
  • Related Experience: Experience in a state technical assistance center OR teaching in a K-12 educational setting.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating MTSS / Response to Intervention (RTI)/School Mental Health / Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) / evidence-based practices (e.g., specific literacy/math interventions, instructional coaching) at the school, district, or state level.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sustained coaching and technical assistance to district and school teams implementing MTSS.
  • Support implementation fidelity through job-embedded coaching, modeling, and consultation with District MTSS Coaches.
  • Collaborate with district- and school-level coordinators to build implementation capacity.
  • Develop, support, and monitor school and district MTSS action plans aligned with state priorities and evidence-based practices.
  • Align coaching support with the content delivered by MTSS Professional Learning Specialists and the outcomes of the district/agency implementation plan.
  • Provide feedback to the training team on implementation challenges, common questions, and emerging needs in the field.
  • Participate in statewide planning meetings, workgroups, and collaborative communities of practice.
  • Support the development and refinement of tools and resources based on field-based observations and needs.
  • Collect and analyze data related to implementation fidelity, coaching effectiveness, and youth/school/agency outcomes.
  • Support implementation assessments (e.g., A/R/TFI, TRS-IA, SHAPE, etc.) and assist teams in interpreting and responding to results.
