Resolves complex commercial property losses generally in excess of $100,000 by investigating damages, negotiating adjustment of losses with corporate management, brokerage personnel, lawyers, accountants or public adjusters representing the insured; presents evidence in legal proceedings; makes sales calls and presentations. The Regional General Adjuster's role varies including direct loss assignment handling, assisting branches or Technical Services on loss handling and catastrophe claims assistance.

Responsibilities

Handle high-value property and liability claims while determining coverage, liability, and estimated loss values.
Support and co-adjust with team members, sharing expertise to elevate overall performance.
Collaborate with claimants, witnesses, and industry experts to ensure thorough, accurate claim evaluations.
Present findings, serve as an expert witness when needed, and make strategic recommendations—including litigation when appropriate.
Investigate damages for complex commercial property losses generally in excess of $100,000.
Negotiate adjustment of losses with corporate management, brokerage personnel, lawyers, accountants or public adjusters representing the insured.
Present evidence in legal proceedings.
Make sales calls and presentations.
Handle direct loss assignments.
Assist branches or Technical Services on loss handling and catastrophe claims assistance.
