About The Position

Our Regional Garden Center Merchandisers will work at multiple retail locations with the responsibility to assist garden centers staff with plant deliveries, merchandise plant displays, and special projects. They will support and guide Dan & Jerry's Garden Center Merchandisers and assist staff to assure high-quality standards as established by Dan & Jerry's are maintained. This role provides exceptional customer service support and requires effective daily communication with the Territory Manager on garden center conditions. The position typically involves working at 5-6 stores per week and requires availability from April to June. Responsibilities include the proper placement and displaying of garden center signage, watering plants when necessary, utilizing Dan and Jerry's online inventory system to account for unsellable product, and disposing of unsellable plant material. Safety is a top priority, and the merchandiser will take an active leadership role in promoting a safe working culture.

Requirements

• Customer service experience
• MUST be trustworthy with a willingness to learn
• MUST have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record for company insurance purposes
• MUST have a cell phone & a valid email address for work purposes
• Candidates must be able to work independently and have a positive and professional attitude

• Plant knowledge is a plus, will train motivated individuals with a desire to learn more about the industry

Responsibilities
