About The Position

The Regional Facilities Manager will report to the EVP of Marinas and will have a passion for boats and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. The RFM will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including marina general maintenance, equipment and dock Preventative Maintenance and may include electrical and plumbing repairs. TPG Marinas is a nationwide owner and operator of marina businesses and other waterfront real estate. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work with limited supervision and work safely around water.
Competent computer skills set, and familiarity with the basic operations of Excel and Google Drive.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Ability to work on a team and independently.
Ability to move into and out of small spaces that may require crouching, kneeling or crawling
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally kneel, stoop, bend and twist in tight areas.
Comfortability with ladders and confined spaces is required.
Ability to work in the elements regularly.

Availability to travel up to 50% within the region to include Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Ideal candidate will reside in Rhode Island, Connecticut or Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

Dock building/repair/basic carpentry required
Maintains the marina readiness throughout the season including spring launch and fall close.
Water bubblers installation and removal.
Turn on/off and blowout of water systems.
Launches and retrieves marina workboat as needed to remove river debris and install or retrieve no wake buoys.
Perform all General Maintenance & Inspection in the following areas; Plumbing -Piping and water valve installation and repairs Electrical - Knowledge of 120/240 vac, single phase services. § To replace/switch 30/50 amp receptacles and circuit breakers. Painting - Marina owned equipment Inspection, Cleaning and Repairs – As needed to support the marina throughout the boating season
Follow all safety guidelines and work in a safe & efficient manner ensuring the operation and cleanliness of the marina.
Develops and maintains effective, friendly, professional working relationships with staff, members, guests and vendors.
Records and documents all maintenance activities.
Carry out all duties and responsibilities assigned by the General Manager or other members of the leadership team.
