About The Position

The Regional Engineering Manager- Controls will provide functional and technical support for the Controls Team and will be responsible for the leadership and development of the Associates on the team. The Regional Engineering Manager is responsible for the development of control systems for automating manufacturing processes and packaging systems and deliver projects to the business that provide a competitive advantage. Controls design includes developing control concepts, program design, functional and equipment specifications, instrumentation selection and operator interface development. The Regional Engineering Manager also directs the modification and installation of electrical and control systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering)
  • 8-12 years’ experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry preferable
  • Basic understanding of engineering principals - knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction or Computer Services
  • In-depth understanding of functional engineering area of expertise
  • Team skills - high-performance team experience
  • Good communication, listening and influencing skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Innovative thinking
  • Able to work collaboratively with other groups
  • 20-50% travel requirement depending on project demands

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional and technical support for the Controls Team.
