As a Regional Team Leader, you will play a key role in advancing CDM Smith's mission by supporting your employees’ career journey, communicating, integrating, connecting, and engaging with your team members. You will actively participate in your team members’ career paths, including identifying and completing appropriate training, achieving professional registration/certification, and assigning challenging projects. You will also select a suitable mentor for your employees as part of the Career Compass Program, celebrate team members at important milestones, and conduct timely and authentic annual performance appraisals, coordinating with technical mentors, project managers, TDMs, and others. Leveraging and applying intellectual property, especially as it relates to Community of Practice participation, is also a key aspect of this role. You will be involved in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees to support project workload and overall firm growth. Delivering a legendary client experience with attention to quality and instilling a sense of personal ownership for work product quality in each member of your team are crucial. You will coordinate workload within your Technical Services group and utilization goals for the individuals on your team, coordinating with your TDM for appropriate technical staff assignments. Managing the team’s financial performance including utilization, direct labor, and profitability, and delivering appropriate sales support, as coordinated with the TDM, are also responsibilities. You will approve time sheets and expense reports in a timely manner and ensure your team members complete all required training (Compliance, Health & Safety, Ethics, etc.) on time, and are compliant with QA/QC and Health & Safety procedures for project delivery.
