About The Position

Hillyard, Inc. is hiring a CDL-A Regional Driver based out of St. Joseph, MO. This position offers consistent, reliable routes with newer equipment and a schedule that drivers can count on. The company respects drivers' time on the road and aims to keep them moving. Drivers can expect approximately 135,000 miles per year on planned routes with an average of 4 delivery stops plus a return load. Routes cover all 48 states, with access to 24/7 delivery locations for flexibility and reduced waiting times.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• 2+ years of experience
• Safe driving record
• Strong understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulations

Nice To Haves

• Experience with material handling equipment
• Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
• Experience with refrigerated or heated trailers (Thermo-King knowledge preferred)

Responsibilities

• Run regional routes across all 48 states
• Safely deliver and unload at scheduled and unattended stops
• Plan trips efficiently to meet delivery windows
• Use electric forklift / power dolly for unloading when needed
• Complete trip documentation and stay compliant with DOT regulations
• Operate onboard systems and maintain strong safety standards
