About The Position

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc., a National Non-Profit, is seeking a Regional Director to join our team. As the Regional Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and implementation of the South Central Pennsylvania programs. You will work closely with a team of Program Directors and National Leadership to ensure the successful execution of initiatives aimed at supporting individuals and families in need. This is a Full-Time position with an Exempt FLSA Classification. The Regional Director is responsible for the overall management of programs in the assigned region, including client services, human resources, personnel, budgets, and program development. The role requires providing direction and support to local programs according to the strategic direction set by leadership, with a broad understanding and ability to assist with new program development, design, and implementation. The position involves supporting leadership in evaluating program needs, developing action plans, and assessing follow-through. The individual must be able to work independently and as part of a larger team, demonstrating management and supervisory experience in a social services setting, a strong leadership background with excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. A commitment to a strength-based, culturally competent, and unconditional care philosophy is essential. Experience in IBHS and/or Behavioral Health Programming is required. This position requires frequent travel and availability for 40 hours per week, potentially including some evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field with at least 10 years of commensurate experience in a community-based agency program.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in human services or community-based programming.
  • IBHS and/or Behavioral Health Experience required.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and execution of funding proposals.
  • Development and oversight of contract services is required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems for documentation and reporting.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) System is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management of programs in the assigned region to include client services, human resources, personnel, budgets, and program development issues.
  • Provide direction and support to local programs according to the strategic direction set by leadership.
  • Assist with new program development, design and implementation.
  • Support leadership in evaluating program needs, development of action plans, and assessing follow through.
  • Lead, coach, and support program management and direct service staff across multiple locations.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, compliance, and outcomes.
  • Represent YAP with stakeholders, funders, and community partners.
  • Travel regularly.
