About The Position

The Global Client Group at Dimensional leads efforts to acquire long-term client relationships and expand the firm's market reach. Team members collaborate with institutions and financial advisors to provide specialized support and ensure an impeccable client experience, with everyone encouraged to innovate and achieve results. The Regional Director, Broker-Dealer Advisor Group, is responsible for business development and relationship management with new and existing clients, driving net new assets (NNA) and managing top-tier advisor relationships within major Wirehouse advisor channels. This role involves leading proactive sales initiatives and coordinating across the broader Broker Dealer channel to enhance Dimensional’s presence in a designated territory. Successful candidates must be highly proficient in capital markets, portfolio construction, and asset allocation, capable of articulating sophisticated investment strategies to high-performing Advisors and navigating complex Wirehouse platforms. A 'hunter mindset' combined with a consultant's approach is crucial, understanding the challenges advisors face when transitioning to fee-based models and scaling their businesses. This position offers flexibility, allowing it to be performed remotely in Southern Florida or on a hybrid schedule from the Charlotte office.

Requirements

  • SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required
  • SIE and Series 7 must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employment
  • Extensive track record in Financial Services, specifically within External Wholesaling or Sales.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding NNA (Net New Assets) targets and scaling territory market share.
  • An entrepreneurial "self-starter" mindset with the high energy required to manage a high-travel, high-activity territory.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex factor-based investing and capital markets theory into clear, persuasive narratives for sophisticated advisor teams.
  • Proven comfort presenting to large audiences at Wirehouse Regional Conferences and leading intimate, high-level "Study Group" sessions.
  • A results-oriented producer who excels in a team-based coverage model, balancing individual accountability with firm-wide goals.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CFA, or CIMA designation strongly preferred to match the technical sophistication of the firm.
  • Proven network and established Wirehouse relationships (Merrill, MS, UBS, Wells) within Florida and/or Puerto Rico.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus.
  • Deep personal conviction in evidence-based investing and the ability to champion Dimensional’s academic-rooted philosophy over traditional active management.
  • An existing "rolodex" of high-production, fee-based FAs who prioritize fiduciary-aligned portfolio construction.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic sales and territory management across a book of business primarily composed of Wirehouse-affiliated Financial Advisors (FAs).
  • Proactively generate for new advisor relationships while deepening existing partnerships to maximize Net New Assets (NNA) and market share.
  • Partner with FAs to streamline their practices, helping them navigate platform transitions and shift toward fee-based, advisory models.
  • Establish yourself as a "thought partner" to high-production teams and internal gatekeepers.
  • Deliver high-impact presentations on Dimensional’s investment philosophy and performance at complex-level meetings, regional Wirehouse conferences, and branch office sessions.
  • Act as a sales and thought leader, coordinating with internal product specialists and the client relationship teams to support complex advisor needs.
  • Serve as a high-visibility spokesperson for Dimensional’s academic research and investment theory within the competitive Wirehouse marketplace.
  • Own territory P&L by increasing revenue and AUM through the strategic placement of Dimensional’s investment suite.
