Regional Director, Sales, Ten-X - West Coast

Learn more about Ten-X. ROLE As a Ten-X Regional Director (RD), you will lead the development and execution of growth strategies for your assigned region. You will be responsible for increasing revenue by onboarding new hires, coaching and developing existing sales professionals, educating clients on the tools and services available through the Ten-X auction platform, and building lasting client relationships through guidance and leadership of your dedicated sales team and region. You will lead a team of sales professionals focused on expanding new and existing business, managing accounts, and delivering exceptional client service while achieving, or exceeding, revenue quota. The role is located in either our Irvine, CA or Century City, CA office.
Requirements
- Five or more years of progressive experience in a front-line sales leadership role within commercial real estate, information services, financial services, or a SaaS sales organization
- Five or more years of experience directly managing a team of 6–12+ sales professionals, with demonstrated success attracting, hiring, training, and developing high-performing teams
- Experience managing a book of business exceeding $3 million in annual revenue
- Experience leading sales efforts in a highly transactional, consultative, and fast-paced organization
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person university or college.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.

Responsibilities
- Grow regional/team revenue while meeting or exceeding annual sales targets
- Attract, hire, motivate, and develop high-impact sales professionals capable of meeting or exceeding quota
- Participate in client calls, client meetings in-person and virtually, to help position and pitch the Ten-X platform, and provide ongoing coaching and training to strengthen sales effectiveness and performance of each sales representative
- Lead the identification, prioritization, and acquisition of new client relationships while retaining and expanding existing accounts; maintain a strong understanding of the region’s key relationships and opportunities
- Monitor sales performance and hold team members accountable for the activity levels and client engagement required to achieve business targets; institute a regimented cadence to monitor and manage utilizing business metrics and KPIs related to activity, opportunity creation, and revenue capture
- Actively manage team members’ weekly activities, including attendance at the National Sales Meeting and timely use of CRM and business management systems to capture sales activity, pipelines, and account assignments
- Establish individual and team performance targets aligned with business goals; monitor results and take timely action to address performance issues or make personnel changes necessary to achieve targets
- Develop and mentor team members to support continuous growth and strong performance
