About The Position

R+L Carriers is actively seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Regional Director of Sales at our Chicago IL Service Center. This is a full-time position with various shifts, Monday through Friday. The role involves revenue forecasting and generation, monitoring revenue results, preparing incentive reports, budget preparation, implementation and monitoring, and ensuring proper staffing, education, and training. The position also requires assisting operations and/or administration as needed. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this position requires up to 50% travel on a recurring basis.

Requirements

  • Must be computer literate with Windows, Excel and CRM exp.
  • Proven experience leading a sales team
  • Operations knowledge preferred
  • LTL Sales Management experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Revenue forecasting & generation
  • Monitor revenue results, prepare/issue incentive reports.
  • Budget preparation, implementation and monitoring
  • Proper staffing, education/training, and assisting operations and/or administration as needed
  • Reporting to the Vice President of Sales
