This role will travel to our community locations in NJ, must live in the NJ area or be willing to relocate. The Regional Director Operations will have full operational oversight over several communities across multiple states. In this role you will use your senior living industry expertise and influence to develop and execute the operational, strategic, capital and growth plans for your respective division.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or related experience.
  • Minimum of seven years managing people leaders preferred.
  • Operational leadership experience leading a Senior Living Community preferred.
  • Demonstrated multi-site oversight of Senior Living is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of multi-state regulations and understanding of SNF operations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how for profit and not for profit structures operate and contrast.
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and an active participant with such agencies as Argentum, MA ALA, and CALA.

Responsibilities

  • Provides executive leadership for key strategic priorities and system-wide initiatives across several communities.
  • Leads Regional team and Executive Directors to drive the operational, financial and strategic initiatives aligned with the company goals.
  • Serves as a trusted partner with company leaders to identify and support effective Integration and Acquisition activities that align with the strategic growth plan.
  • Embraces and champions internal growth through succession planning tools and in close partnership with Human Resources and L&D.
  • Collaborates with community leaders to develop a culturally strong sales team mindset and “out of the box thinking” to achieve occupancy growth.
  • Leverages the Sr. Marketing Director to review demographic and critical data trends in order to develop and execute on strategic marketing plans for each of our communities.
  • Understands and demonstrates operating efficiencies, expense controls and sets expectations with achieving NOI, entrance fees and flow-through goals.
  • Meets with investors and/or board members and provides updates on the financial growth and health of their assets.
  • Liaison with corporate partners for matters related to Compliance, Resident Care Services, IT, Legal and Human Resources.
  • Effectively presents operating results to the Executive Leadership team and develops action plans to increase performance expectations.
  • Develops and implements annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Forecasts monthly and quarterly P&L statements with team members.
  • Requires travel to community locations on a regular basis across multiple states in the Northeast.
