The Regional Director of Marketing is to ensure all Resort Guest Services teams are operating in a professional and organized manner while providing a positive world-class experience to our owners and sales tour guests. The position must also support the organization’s mission to provide superior quality, lasting value, and outstanding customer service through the day-to-day workflow processes that affect the organization. The Regional Director of Marketing will provide strategic direction, leadership and development to all Resort Guest Services teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of timeshare experience, including two within Timeshare Marketing or Sales operations.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic direction by analyzing current business results and anticipated business conditions.
  • Superb presentation skills with experience conveying information in a clear, focused and concise manner.
  • Strong and proactive decision-making ability and strong problem resolution skills.
  • Strong goal orientation and advanced knowledge of Marketing concepts.
  • Experience identifying and resolving problems arising from employee relation issues, customers, policy/procedural changes, etc. Excellent customer service skills.
  • Gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various problems, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Interact and communicate with individuals at al levels of the organization requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and follow through.
  • Compelling leadership abilities. Persuasive interpersonal skills to gain acceptance of an idea, plan, activity, service or product from guests and co-workers.
  • Strong work ethic, high energy level and positive attitude. Strong administrative, organization and planning skills.
  • Pursuit of continuous improvement, enhance or increase personal knowledge and skills that will assist in job performance.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves departmental written budgetary objectives for tours, sales volume and VPG for all the Sales and Marketing Departments in the Region.
  • Ensures tour conversions by tour source are exceeding budget and manage tour waves to maximize tour opportunities and balance.
  • Directly accountable for achieving performance goals while managing cost to ensure profitability.
  • Analyzes and aligns appropriate staff levels to support Marketing’s strategies.
  • Maintains and constantly improves the Company’s competitive position.
  • Assists the Marketing leaders in evaluations and coaching for continuous improvement to meet all minimum production standards.
  • Ensures seamless communications and works closely with Sales department.
  • Provides development, mentoring and clear expectations to all team members in each job-related function.
