About The Position

Ducks Unlimited has an opening for a full-time Regional Director of Event Fundraising located in the Eastern Nebraska region. The Regional Director's duties and responsibilities encompass the management of all facets of event fundraising within the region.

Requirements

BA or BS from an accredited institution
Self-motivated and eager to accept challenging goals
Aptitude for building and managing relationships with a diverse group of volunteers with an emphasis on effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency on a personal computer with basic skills in MS Office applications
Working familiarity with the Internet
Willingness to develop computer skills specific to Ducks Unlimited, Inc.’s standardized information systems
Willingness to work hours that extend well outside of the typical workday and workweek throughout the year
Willingness to undertake extensive auto travel throughout the state and region
Reside in a mutually agreed upon location in the Eastern Nebraska region

Recruitment and training of volunteers
Managing volunteer efforts in support of Ducks Unlimited fundraising events
Fostering growth within the region with emphasis on new chapter development; internal growth within existing committees; identification and development of non-traditional fundraising opportunities and major donor identification and management
Coordination and collaboration with the fundraising team and volunteers
