Requirements

  • Must have a current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Must have Assisted Living experience
  • Ideally will have experience working with older adults in a senior living, long-term care or other health care setting
  • Ideally will have a track record of working efficiently and effectively supporting a portfolio of communities with adherence to applicable state and federal laws
  • Will have strong computer skills and ability to work with a variety of software systems
  • Willingness and ability to travel with the potential for overnight stays up to 35% of time

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred multi-state RN License

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with clinical leadership, will develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and other pertinent company policies and procedures in the communities for which the RDCS supports
  • Assists with training, onboarding and coaching team members in the performance of wellness department responsibilities
  • Supports quality care and data collection initiatives
  • Communicates and interacts with residents, families, team members and third-party vendors in a kind, respectful and effective manner
  • In the absence of a Director of Wellness, oversees wellness team members and assumes responsibility for the overall nursing operations of the community
