Foundations Recovery Network (FRN), a UHS company, is a nationwide leader in the treatment of co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders. With 11 residential and outpatient facilities across the U.S., FRN aims to guide every patient into long-term recovery by integrating the best staff, treatment options and research available. Every day we chip away at the stigmas surrounding mental health and addiction by walking with each patient before, during and after their treatment with us. In 2015, FRN became the Addiction Treatment Services Division for Universal Health Services. The Regional Director-Clinical Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to clinical leadership teams across multiple facilities, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, evidence-based addiction treatment services. This role partners closely with on-site Clinical Directors to strengthen clinical operations, standardize care processes, and ensure clinical documentation supports medical necessity, continuity of care, and positive patient outcomes. A primary focus of this position is driving clinical excellence through strong documentation compliance, adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, and thoughtful program design that supports patient engagement and retention. The Divisional Director plays a critical role in identifying trends impacting patient flow—including AMA and ACA occurrences—and leads system-wide initiatives to reduce premature discharges through improved clinical structure, therapist support, group programming, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role supports consistency and quality across levels of care (detox, residential, PHP, and IOP) by guiding clinical leaders on best practices related to treatment planning, clinical decision-making, and coordination of care. Success in this role requires deep expertise in addiction treatment modalities, clinical leadership experience across multiple levels of care, and a strong working knowledge of CARF and ASAM standards. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can balance operational discipline with clinical empathy, communicate effectively across disciplines, and drive meaningful improvements in patient experience, engagement, and care quality at scale.
