Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business/Management, or related field.
Seven (7) years of work experience in biomedical engineering, technical equipment operations, or a closely related field to include leadership experience.
In lieu of degree six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.
In lieu of degree 13 years of work experience in biomedical engineering, technical equipment operations or a closely related field to include leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Provide overall senior biomed leadership to the teams assigned.
Develops goals and mentors staff.
Monitors that department and healthcare policies, procedures and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are being followed.
Maintains regulatory compliance readiness.
Establishes and maintains the biomedical services customer business relationship.
Provide updates and consultative discussions with local senior leadership (C-Suite).
Escalates service issues as appropriate.
Provide guidance and oversite to projects.
Assist with staffing needs among the assigned entities.
Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) within the assigned area.
Works with Executive Director on monitoring operations budget and assist in preparing annual budget.
