About The Position

We are adding a Regional Craftworker Recruiter to help attract, engage, and hire skilled craft professionals across the Hampton Roads, Norfolk, and Richmond markets. This role will focus on building relationships within local labor markets, developing recruiting pipelines, attending industry events, and partnering with operations leaders to meet workforce demands. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter who enjoys being in the field, networking with candidates, and finding creative ways to connect with top talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience
  • Experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract skilled craftworkers
  • Build relationships with trade schools, workforce organizations, military transition programs, and community partners
  • Source, screen, and qualify candidates for craft and field positions
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Manage candidate pipelines and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate and manage offer discussions, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding activities
  • Stay informed on labor market trends, workforce availability, and competitor hiring activity
  • Attend hiring events, career fairs, trade events, and networking opportunities
  • Partner with operations leaders to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
  • Support recruiting efforts in other ACE regions as business needs require
