In this role you will be responsible for Transport, inspect, and maintain equipment, including low‑voltage systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control‑system issues. Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, upgrades, and equipment repairs. Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, asset records, and project tracking. Operate shop equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, tools) safely and maintain a clean work environment. Provide technical support to field and shop teams and recommend equipment solutions. Cross‑train on various control platforms and adapt to new software, firmware, and equipment. Ensure all equipment meets safety and quality assurance standards. Support continuous improvement and collaborate with other departments as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and understand control systems and power flow.
  • Experience with industrial equipment maintenance, calibration, and reliability practices.
  • Solid documentation, reporting, and record‑keeping abilities.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools and asset‑management systems.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in equipment service, controls, or industrial technical roles
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules based on project needs
  • Ability to meet site access and safety requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial environments preferred
  • Post-secondary education in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls Technology, or related field preferred
