About The Position

The Regional Clinical Supervisor demonstrates leadership and clinical expertise by improving care delivery and ensuring evidence-based practice for culturally diverse populations served by Brevard Health Alliance (BHA). The Clinical Supervisor promotes patient and staff safety, quality outcomes, compliance, risk mitigation, and appropriate use of policies, procedures, and guidelines. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, and subsequently planning, implementing, and evaluating new initiatives. The Clinical Supervisor uses quality measures, patient satisfaction, and staff feedback to guide action. The Clinical Supervisor is an integral part of the primary care medical home team. The Clinical Supervisor serves as facilitator with the goal of having each clinic function as efficiently as possible to benefit patients. This role changes daily based on the needs of each unit.

Requirements

Graduate from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and has met licensure requirements for practice.
Must have an Associate Degree in Nursing
Current Florida/compact Nursing License (RN)
Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision in various outpatient settings, is motivated, self- directed, and demonstrates initiative

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred
Two (2) years recent experience in an outpatient/ambulatory care setting preferred

Responsibilities

Provides leadership for teamwork and team building with clinical staff.
Supports and works collaboratively with medical home team to move the clinic towards SMART goals and other measurable outcomes (HEDIS/UDS).
Responsible for running various reports from EMR and provides completed analysis to Director of Clinical Operations upon request.
Assesses clinic workflows to ensure efficiency and use of all available resources in EMR.
Coordinates clinical activities and ensures consistency in assigned locations and collaborates with other BHA clinical locations.
Provides guidance in recruitment process, associate coaching, and performance review process when needed.
Helps maintain established productivity standards for providers by optimizing clinic flow.
Leads Quality Improvement and organizational projects. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, and subsequently planning, implementing, and evaluating new initiatives.
Responsible for the oversight of clinical operations and clinical compliance including performing audits to mitigate risk, ensure 340B compliance, and implementation of clinical directives.
In collaboration with the RN Clinical Specialist, assists with oversight of Vaccines for Children Program, Vaccine for Adult Program, and private vaccine management. He/she is responsible for carrying out emergency vaccine procedures.
Understands and promotes Uniform Data Safety (UDS) for clinical oversight and improvement
Possesses in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures that relate to daily clinical operations and serves as a resource for clinical programs.
Monitors Aledade and Azara and provides ongoing education/support to encourage continuous quality improvement.
Ensures consistent application of the policies and procedures of BHA in collaboration with Providers and business staff.
Works closely with managers and administration to best utilize and share staff in times of need.
Provides feedback and clinical insight to managers to assist in completing performance reviews.
Based on education/experience, the Clinical Supervisor may be assigned responsibility as a preceptor to new staff/trainees.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
