The role: As Regional Clinical Specialist, you be responsible to provide and promote a high standard of Prosthetic care and treatment across a range of amputation levels, ensuring best practice, as part of a multi-disciplinary team. To ensure that all patients are afforded the highest standard of care within the resources available, maintaining respect, dignity and confidentiality for patients’ individual needs at all times.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Prosthetics and Orthotics with Certification with from The American Board for Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics (ABC)
  • 5 years ABC certified experience as a Prosthetist/Orthotist working with both upper and lower extremities
  • Strong verbal communications skills and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer facing skills and highly professional demeanor
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to integrate, communicate, contribute and thrive in a team environment with all levels and departments
  • Strong client relationship, prospecting, leadership, organizational, analytical, task and time management skills
  • Attention to detail, especially regarding documentation and adherence to processes
  • Ability to receive and analyze data

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and familiarity with prosthetic or medical environment, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Teach how to assess, measure, cast, fit, deliver, supply, review and adjust prosthesis/orthoses as required across a range of amputation levels.
  • Teach how to cast and rectify models in a timely fashion using both traditional methods and CADCAM where appropriate.
  • Maintain a knowledge of available components and understand their function.
  • Work within the parameters of accepted "best practice" at all times. To ensure that all aspects of practice always conform to clinical governance.
  • Act as a resource for clinical cover for annual leave, sickness, planned absences or emergency cover where appropriate.
  • Teach appropriate usage of our products to the clinician customers
  • Present clinical topics with clinical expertise in state and national assembly meetings and in individual clinic settings
  • Provide technical answers and support virtually to help customers best trouble shoot or apply our products.
  • Provide ongoing product training to our sales team
  • Lead and/or attend in-service training sessions
