The Regional Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for supporting AON’s formulary implementation initiatives, including but not limited to: Drug utilization reporting and analysis, therapeutic drug interchange programs, and Biosimilar integration. This clinical pharmacist will support medical providers by creating, updating, and communicating education material and provide support related to formulary preferences, performing therapeutics interchanges in the EMR with the approval of the prescriber, or within company interchange protocols. Additionally, the clinical pharmacist will serve as a liaison between central services and the regional clinics which they support with matters, including but not limited to: Drug Therapeutics and Education, Monitoring of Adverse Events and other clinical outcomes. The clinical pharmacist will support provide groups by addressing all clinical pharmacy inquiries and assessing opportunities to improve support and care delivery.
