About The Position

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced nurse leader who is seeking an exciting opportunity combining preventative health and wellness, biotechnology, and post-acute care. Our Novir clinical team provides vaccination clinics and testing services in senior living and post-acute care communities throughout the State of Wisconsin. This is an office and field-based position that requires flexibility and the willingness to support our team members and customers in a variety of health care settings across the State of Wisconsin. Flexibility with scheduled hours and team travel to clinic settings is essential to be successful in this role. Novir is an industry leading company that offers growth and stability. This role will be an integral part of our Clinical Operations and Onsite Health Solutions Team, providing guidance and supervision to our talented field teams consisting of RNs, LPNs, Medical Assistants, and other interdisciplinary professionals. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience of progressive leadership experience in an adult clinical setting with senior living and post-acute care experience strongly preferred
  • Understanding of state and federal long-term care and assisted living regulations, standard operations, as well as policies and procedures
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems. Working knowledge of PCC and Wisconsin Immunization Registry is highly desired.
  • High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Comfortability making decisions in a changing environment
  • Ability to manage the physical requirements of the position
  • Willingness to travel to scheduled clinics with the team throughout the State of Wisconsin
  • Willingness to be flexible with early clinic start times and occasional long commute times and travel days
  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds regularly
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
  • Must be able to stand most of the day on concrete or hard floors.
  • Physical ability to work around children
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands and/or fingers.
  • Physically traveling from one work site to another
  • Occasionally deal with outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
  • Occasionally work in noisy environments.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise, train, and mentor our clinical field team members
  • Responsible for ensuring all on-site clinic shifts are properly staffed
  • Engage in continuous process and service level improvements
  • Ensure all vaccine supplies, equipment and records are being properly maintained through Quality Control
  • Evaluate new process improvements and make appropriate recommendations
  • Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their development
  • Perform onsite work as needed and maintain proficiency/competency in clinical operations
  • The Clinical Manager is responsible for the daily operations of onsite staff, and overall workflow of multiple sites, ensuring safety, optimum customer service, quality specimen collection, testing, evaluation of results, and accuracy of result reporting
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, proficiency standards, and organizational guidelines related to CLIA waived testing services
  • Participate in and provide oversight of Lead Testing Clinics
  • Coordinates all activities with the VP of Onsite Health Solutions and the Clinical Operations Manager
  • Serves as a customer service champion by responding to and resolving customer service concerns and complaints on a timely and effective basis. Ensures excellent customer service and resolves complaints by empowering staff to proactively address issues
  • Determines appropriate clinical equipment needs, following through on requests, purchases, installation, preventative maintenance, and directs corrective action or repairs as appropriate
  • Maintains current knowledge of the integrated computer systems as they relate to the onsite clinical services. Maintains current knowledge of documentation software and serves as a technical resource for staff
  • Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include coaching on performance, performance reviews, and overall staff morale. Recommends hiring, corrective action decisions, and terminations
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the age of the customers served
