This role involves planning, coordinating, and directing day-to-day patient and clinical operations. The manager assists in planning, coordinating, and directing daily food service operations to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Key responsibilities include serving as a clinical resource, participating in staff hiring, orientation, and education, and establishing and maintaining policies, standards, and performance improvement programs for optimal patient care. The position also monitors clinical performance for safety, efficacy, and evidence-based practice in both Inpatient and Outpatient settings, with primary oversight of Computrition/FNS software.
