About The Position

The Regional Client Lead (North America) acts as the regional business owner for a portfolio of enterprise accounts. This role sits at the intersection of client strategy, revenue ownership, and platform adoption, with accountability for long-term growth, executive partnership, and operational excellence We are highly focused on the idea of putting Customers First. In this role, you will become a trusted advisor, creating win-win outcomes that deliver meaningful value for both Smartly and our clients. This is not a traditional customer success role. You will lead complex, multi-stakeholder relationships, shape how Smartly is embedded into your customers’ operating models, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes across creative automation, media activation, and intelligence. You are expected to operate comfortably at the executive level, bring a strong point of view, and drive progress in environments that are often ambiguous and fast-moving.

Responsibilities

  • Own the North America strategy and commercial outcomes for a portfolio of global, enterprise customers
  • Act as the senior executive partner to client stakeholders, including VP and C-level leaders
  • Build deep, trust-based relationships across marketing, media, creative, and operations teams on the client side
  • Own revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and expansion strategy for assigned accounts
  • Identify, shape, and close opportunities anchored to customer outcomes and platform value
  • Lead joint business planning with customers, aligning priorities, timelines, and success metrics
  • Drive adoption of Smartly’s platform across creative, media, and intelligence use cases
  • Translate Smartly’s product roadmap into clear, business-relevant value for customers
  • Partner closely with Product and Solutions teams to ensure customer needs inform roadmap priorities
  • Lead and align internal teams across Client Partners, Solutions Engineering, Creative Services, Managed Services, and Sales
  • Remove friction, clarify ownership, and ensure the right people are engaged at the right time
  • Establish clear communication, escalation, and feedback loops to maintain momentum and accountability
  • Help customers evolve their internal workflows and operating models as they scale creative and media through Smartly
  • Navigate agency relationships, internal client politics, and regional/global complexity
  • Act as a steady, credible leader during moments of change, ambiguity, or urgency
