Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver (Southwest Fleet)
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver for our Southwest Fleet. This position offers competitive weekly pay, with an average of $1,200 – $1,500 per week, paid on all miles (loaded and empty). Drivers can expect to be home weekly for a 34 to 48-hour reset, typically spending 5 to 5.5 days on the road. You will be operating assigned newer-model tractors (Kenworth, Freightliner, and International) and have the option to take your truck home during scheduled time off, provided safe parking is available. The freight is 100% No-Touch Dry Van, with approximately 70% of operations being Drop & Hook.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) safety and hiring requirements.
- Successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record review (case-by-case basis).
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer for regional routes in the Southwest.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of 100% No-Touch Dry Van freight.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Utilize Drop & Hook operations efficiently (approximately 70% of the time).
- Take advantage of the option to take the truck home during scheduled time off.
